The worlds cheapest car Nano has stamped a distinctive position for the Indian car industry in the global automotive map. The car being one-of-its kind will rule the Indian roads rivaling not only the small cars but also the two wheelers. Available in five variants: Base BSII, Base BSIII, CX BSII, CX BSIII, LX BSIII. Nano is powered by a 2-cylinder, 624 cc, multi-point fuel-injection petrol engine which is mounted at the rear of the car and delivers 34.5 bhp. 4-speed manual transmission is standard in all the variants. The Nano has 21 percent more interior space compared to its closest rival, the Maruti 800. Only the top end variant has air conditioning.
